Well M&D did have Volvo Ailsas... If only the Atlantean had remained in production for, oh 10 years more...And if Glasgow Corporation remained...And they still used orange... Rather than producing the Oh So Ugly P-Type, why didn't Alexander just update the Y-type? To try and show some faith in trams, Blackpool has some with East Lancs bodies built using bits of balloon. Nice, eh? CMB Spec Jumbo Fleetline with a DMS Body instead of an Alexander one I wish LRT still existed, because theres a fair chance their Geminis would look like this SMT Geminis would have been surprisingly similar, just with very nice Eastern Scottish themed interiors What if SMT livery survived? Would they have this? Had the Y-Type still been in production, what would it have looked like on an L94UB? Well...Heres the answer! Predating the Volvo Citybus by many years, the Leopard double decker...Tall... Could London Transport have extended the lives of its RTWs by giving them RM style bodies? Probably not... Better than a Guy Otter isn't it? Well...Central never seemed to like veru much else. Seddon Pennine VIIA. London in style! MCWs competitor to the National 2. Believe it or not but its got the same wheelbase as a Scania! What if Lothian's first Olympians had this kind of body? No I don't know why either I fiound out recently that the Olympian chassis was modular...So here's a competitor to the Metroliner. Eastern Scottish, in an attempt to incresee capacity in the city trial a 6x2 Olympian. Olympian in traditional Green Line garb. Better than that lime sherbert Airlink scheme anyway. Lothian, in an effort to have a more impressive 'decker, comission this. Impressive ain't it? The vertical engined Olympian LRTL11 I once read an article on the Octopus with an Atlantean power pack on the rear and wondered... On the same principle as the Y-type, an Alexander AL bodied Omnidekka. Looks weird, doesn't it? Midland Omnidekka. Well...They always did do it a bit different... Full front RCL with proper coach trim. The trolleybus RME. Designed for service on the trolley bus routes London never kept. Pity... Eastern Scottish RMA. If only they didn't have low bridges If Edinburgh Corporation had been AEC in 1959 rather than Leyland I think the RM would've made an appearance. Nice, isn't it? In an effort to maximise its investment, AEC and PRV produce a lowheight RML, the RMLH The roofbox RM. I just wanted to see what it would look like The front entrance RT for interstation duties TD T-type double decker. Almost as radical looking as a Skyliner? Lothian Titan Glasgow always seemed to favour a rugged bus, and they don't seem much more rugged than a Victory! BR bought a batch of VRTs at the end of the '70s for rail replacement duities. A Plaxton Supreme bodied Bristol VR of Alder Valley. Would the VR have made a good coach? A cancelled order of uprated Seddon Pennine VIIs result in the London Country SA class?
